in an online poll conducted by the SPORTbible’s audience on the topic of ‘the greatest striker’ in Premier League debate, the likes of Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba, Liverpool legend, Michael Owen and former Chelsea forward, Andy Cole missed out as the Premier League’s all-time top scorer Alan Shearer joined Thierry Henry, Sergio Aguero and Wayne Rooney.
Over 20,000 people voted for their personal favourite and Henry came out on top with 49% of the vote, while, Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer came second with 36% of votes.
Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney and Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero lagged behind with 10% and 4%, respectively.
